As we said the other day when we reported on the Porsche 918 Spyder reveal at Geneva, we really didn’t see this coming. We all know that Porsche are playing with Hybrid tech on their road cars – the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid is here and the Porsche Panamera Hybrid on the way – and have even had a play with a hybrid track car – the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Ford are busy delivering cars based on their new C–Segment platform to the market. We saw the 2011 Ford Focus arrive at the Detroit Motor Show at the start of the year. Prior to that we saw the C-Max and Grand C-Max at Frankfurt in September.
